Spring Commencement will be held Saturday, May 18
UW-Stevens Point will hold its commencement exercises at 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. on May 18, with more than 1,300 graduates earning their degree. Distinguished Alumnus Award winner Bee Leng Chua will address graduates, family and friends.
Environmental sculpture was a campus, community effort
Award-winning artist Patrick Dougherty worked with students and community members to build an environmental sculpture made of local maple, willow and dogwood saplings. Click to watch a video of its creation next to the Noel Fine Arts Center April 1-18.
Summers named provost/vice chancellor for Academic Affairs
After conducting a national search, UW-Stevens Point has appointed Greg Summers as the lead academic officer at the university. He has served as the interim provost and vice chancellor for Academic Affairs since 2011.
