Natty Nation brings reggae sound to UW-Stevens Point
Madison-based reggae, roots and rock group, Natty Nation, will bring its sound to the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point�s (UWSP) University Center Encore at 8 p.m., Friday, Jan. 23.
Sponsored by UWSP�s Centertainment Productions, the performance is free to students with a valid UWSP ID and $3 for the public.
Members of the band include Peter "Ras Kickit" Johnston on drums and percussion, Paul "Dr. Bric Da Brac" Willis, also on drums and percussion, Stefan "Rastrues" Truesdell on guitars and backing vocals, Aaron "Eyes of Moses" Konkol on keyboards and backing vocals, and Demetrius "JAH Boogie" Wainwright on bass and lead vocals.
The band�s latest release, "Inatty In Jah Music," was released last year and includes 15 songs ranging from hip hop to rock and everything in between. Prior Natty Nation recordings include "Rasta Revolution E.P.," "Live 9.21.2000," "Live �99-2000," "Earth Citizen," and "The Journey Has Just Begun."
