15th annual Soul Food Dinner at UW-Stevens Point
The 15th annual Soul Food Dinner celebrating Black History Month will be held in the Laird Room of the newly renovated Dreyfus University Center on Sunday, February 10.
The event, sponsored by the UWSP Black Student Union, will begin at 4:30 p.m., with dinner at 5 p.m. Dinner will include catfish, macaroni and cheese, chicken, collard greens, peach cobbler, and other tasty soul food offerings. Following dinner, there will be entertainment by Greg Anderson, De Shawn Ewing, and Nigel Wade. In addition, there will be a musical performance by Uptown.
The cost is $10 for general admission, $5 for UWSP students with ID and $3 for children 12 and younger. Tickets are available at University Information and Tickets in the Dreyfus University Center Concourse or by telephone at (715) 346-4100 or (800) 838-3378. Online ticket purchases can be made at
www.uwsp.edu/centers/uit/. Tickets may also be available at the door, but participants are urged to purchase tickets in advance.-30-
