The Hmong and Southeast Asian American Club at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point will host the eleventh annual Hmong Expressions in Visual Arts conference on Saturday, March 31.

The conference will be held in the Noel Fine Arts Center on campus. Pre-registration for the conference is due by March 16.

Guest speakers include Seexeng Lee, a painter and high school art teacher from St. Paul, Minn.; Kou Vang, a photographer and graphic artist from Milwaukee; and UWSP alumna Pa Na Lor, a graduate student studying animation at the California Institute of the Arts. The three artists will talk about their experience as artists and how their culture has influenced their work.

The conference will also exhibit artwork of students and members of the community. The deadline for submitting artwork has been extended to Friday, March 2.

Graduating high school seniors and current students at a technical school or university are eligible welcome to enter for a chance to win one of three cash scholarships.
