Tom Charlesworth photo published

Tom Charlesworth, photographer for Web and Media Services at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, had one of his photographs published.

The photograph captures the "River Crossing" sculpture in front of the James H. Albertson Learning Resources Center at UWSP, and is featured in a self-titled book by the renowned creator of the sculpture, Michael Dunbar. The book, written by Suzanne Deats and published by Fresno Fine Art Publications, Inc., goes in depth on the creation of the many pieces Dunbar has built around the Midwest.

Charlesworth, a Stevens Point native and 1987 UWSP alumnus, began working at UWSP in 1999 as a media specialist in the University Relations and Communications Office. He was also a photographer with the Wisconsin Rapids Tribune and the Stevens Point Journal. Charlesworth has won numerous awards for his photography at the local and national level including honors in the University Photographers Association of America (UPAA) competitions and other contests.
