Students of Polish descent who plan to participate in the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point�s semester abroad in Poland are eligible for a $500 scholarship offered by Annual Lectures on Poland.

Applicants must be of Polish descent and have a good academic record. They are asked to submit letters of application to Scholarship Committee, Annual Lectures on Poland, 1860 S. County Road X, Mosinee, WI 54455-9570, and state the reasons they should be considered. To be included are thoughts about Polish ancestry, reasons for participating in the semester in Poland, and plans for the future. Also, to be included are lists of extracurricular activities during high school and college, high school and university transcripts and one or two letters of recommendation from instructors or employers.

The deadline for submission is Thursday, May 1.
