Volunteer judges are being sought to evaluate projects for Central Wisconsin Regional History Day, Saturday, April 9, at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

Judges will work in teams from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. with students in grades 6 to 12 who have been working on National History Day projects. Each spring UWSP hosts the regional day which brings several hundred students, parents, teachers and other guests to campus. Judges are needed to evaluate junior and senior division projects in the categories of Web sites, exhibits, performances, documentaries and papers.

Judges serve as guides for young historians who hope to go on to state and national finals. Interested volunteers are asked to contact District Coordinator Tom Reich at treich@uwsp.edu or 715-346-3726.
