Comedienne Megan Mooney will be coming to the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point on Thursday, February 26 at 8 p.m.

The performance will be held in the Encore Room of the University Center (UC) and will be free to students with a UWSP ID or $4 to the general public. The event is sponsored by Centertainment Productions.

Mooney graduated cum laude from John Carroll University. She moved to Austin, Texas, where she began her career in comedy, working the club scene. Before long she was honored with the 1998 "Funniest Person in Austin" award. She also has performed on the Comedy Central series, "Premium Blend," and the prestigious HBO US Comedy Arts Festival. Mooney�s relaxed comic style has helped her to consistently gain the approval of her audiences.
