Joint student recital at UWSP
Pianists Abbey Davis and Joseph Stillwell will perform in a student recital at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point on Sunday, February 18.
The concert will be held at 2 p.m. in Michelsen Hall of the Noel Fine Arts Center. The rec ital is open to the public free of charge.
Davis will be performing "Three Romances for Sax and Piano" by Robert Schumann.
Stillwell will perform "Trio for Flute, Cello and Piano" by Bohuslav Martinu, assisted by Samantha Theuring and Kirsten Mitchel. Davis and Stillwell will also play a duet, "Neue Liebeslieder" by Johannes Brahms, assisted by John Becker, Robert Kroes, Caitlin Last and Meagan Younkle.
Davis, daughter of Jeff and Linda Davis, Brookfield, is a senior majoring in music with a minor in business administration. She is involved in Intervarsity Christian Fellowship and Ultimate Frisbee.
Stillwell, son of Scott and Cynthia Stillwell, Kohler, is a senior majoring is music with a minor in art history. He is a member of the Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia music fraternity on campus.
