Gourmet cooking series continues through UWSP
A series of four gourmet cooking classes offered by Arts and Culture Outreach at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point will continue Saturday, March 31, with a course on "Gourmet Breads and Soups."
The course will be held from 3-6 p.m. at the Green Fountain Inn in Waupaca. The head chef at the inn, Deb Ostrander, will teach the course.
The series also includes "Tapas and International Hors d�oeuvres" on Sat., April 21 and "Decadent Desserts" on May 5. Each hands-on session is $35. Following each session there will be a time to enjoy the treats prepared during class.
Ostrander has a degree in culinary arts from Fox Valley Technical College and has taught culinary classes in the Door County area.
