Student Arts Alliance spring film series continues with futuristic movie

The Student Arts Alliance (SAA) at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point will continue their spring film series with three screenings of the foreign film, "2046," on Sunday, February 25.

The film will be shown at 2, 5 and 8 p.m. in Room 221 of the Noel Fine Arts Center and will be open to the public free of charge.

Released in 2005, "2046" is a continuation of the film "In the Mood for Love," which reflects the life of Mr. Chow. "2046" is a mystifying destination traveled to escape reality and avoid the changes of day to day life. The film reflects on loss, regret, love and time through the eyes of Chow.

The SAA will continue the spring film series in March with "Sex and Lucia" on March 11.
