The College of Fine Arts and Communication at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point will offer a weeklong summer studio arts camp on campus for students entering grades eight though 12.

UWSP art campers will have five full days as well as evening activities such as life drawing, open lab, concerts, movies and other social events. Studio experiences include foundry and aluminum casting, assemblage sculpture, book arts and graphic design. The camp will be held June 22 through 28. A gallery exhibition of the campers’ work will be held on Saturday, June 28.

The cost is $615 and includes tuition, room, board, materials and campus activities. A commuter option of $515 is also available.

The camp application deadline is Monday, June 9, although early registration is strongly advised. A limited number of scholarships are available to qualified students.
