Down the Line, an acoustic pop band, will perform at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (UWSP) on Saturday, March 1.

The performance, sponsored by UWSP Centertainment Productions, will be held at 8 p.m. in the Encore of the Dreyfus University Center. Admission is $4 to the general public and free with a UWSP ID.

The Chicago-based band members include Levi Britton, Derek Fawcett, Dan Myers and Dave Rothkopf, who have earned a reputation that has secured them a place on tour with such legendary acts including Peter Frampton, America and Ben Folds.

Currently touring to promote their new album, "Home Alive," Down the Line will deliver an acoustic mix including guitar, mandolin, violin, harmonica, djembe and electric bass that UR Chicago Magazine called "a meticulous yet carefree performance . . . one of the most exuberant we have seen."
