Paper mach and printmaking classes offered through UWSP

Children will construct masks, pi�atas, trinket boxes or other decorative items during an Arts and Culture Outreach workshop offered in February by University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (UWSP) Continuing Education.

The "Paper Your World" workshop is intended for children ages 7 to 11, and will be held on the UWSP campus from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, February 5, 12, 19 and 26. The registration deadline is Friday, January 25. The cost is $39, which includes materials.

The instructor for the workshop, Linda Mathes, has a degree in elementary education and over 20 years of teaching experience. She is certified in Waldorf Education and previously taught at the Chicago Waldorf School. Mathes is also the owner of the Blue Bead, a jewelry and bead shop in downtown Stevens Point.
