Wendy Fox, an inspirational comedian for the "Alcohol Insanity" tour, will perform at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point on Friday, February 24.

The performance, sponsored by Centertainment Productions, will be held in the Laird room of the Dreyfus University Center beginning at 8 p.m. Admission will be $4 for the general public and free for students with a UWSP ID.

Drawing from her own personal experiences in growing up in an alcoholic environment, Fox uses humor to shed light on the dangers of alcohol abuse. In her show, Fox shares her thoughts, feelings, and opinions on subjects that "really matter in the life of college students."

For the last eight years, she has been traveling across the U.S. as a stand-up comic, appearing at colleges, clubs, and on television.
