Student to give percussion recital
University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point student Kayla Berndt will
perform in a percussion recital at the Noel Fine Arts Center on
Saturday, May 2.
The free recital will be held at 7:30 p.m. in Michelsen Concert Hall. Berndt will perform
jazz selections and will feature the marimba and vibes. She will be assisted by Steve Radtke,
Jim Geddes on saxophone, Brian Claxton on drums, Eric Ross on bass and Ryan Tomski on
piano.
Berndt is the daughter of Julie and John Berndt of Oshkosh. She is expected to graduate in
December 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in music education.
