UWSP faculty members to perform in
chamber music concert
Music faculty members from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point
(UWSP) will perform in a chamber music concert on Friday, November 7.
The concert, part of the Music Department Scholarship Series,
will be held at 7:30 pm. in Michelsen Hall at the Noel Fine
Arts Center. Tickets are $7 for adults, $4 for senior citizens,
$3 for UWSP students and youth and free the day of the concert
for students with a UWSP ID. Tickets are available at the University
Information and Tickets Office in the Dreyfus University Center, or
by calling 715-346-4100 or 800-838-3378. Visa, MasterCard or Discover
are accepted. Tickets may also be purchased at the door if seats
are available.
The concert will feature Steven Bjella, violin, Dee Martz and
David Becker, viola, David Story, double bass, Lawrence Leviton,
cello, and Molly Roseman, piano.
The program includes the Mendelssohn “Piano Sextet, Op. 110” and
the “Piano Quintet in C Minor” by Ralph Vaughan-Williams.
