Hot Buttered Rum to perform at UWSP
Acoustic rock band Hot Buttered Rum will perform a bluegrass
concert at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (UWSP)
on Friday, December 12.
Sponsored by Centertainment Productions, the performance will
be held at 8 p.m. in the Laird Room of the Dreyfus University
Center. Admission is $10 for the general public and free with
a UWSP ID.
Hot Buttered Rum, one of the fastest-rising acts in acoustic
rock, began in the San Francisco Bay area with five
singer-songwriter/instrumentalists, setting out to create a
new Northern California sound. The band includes a blend of
American styles including folk, jazz, rock and newgrass.
