UWSP Horn Choir celebrates 20 years
The University of Wisconsin Stevens Point (UWSP) Horn Choir will
perform in a concert on Thursday, November 13.
The concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. in Michelsen Hall at
the Noel Fine Arts Center. Admission is free and open
to the public.
The 19-member choir is celebrating its 20
th anniversary,
all under the direction of Patrick Miles, professor of horn
and director of orchestral activities.
The choir will perform a variety of works including “Fanfare for
Four Horns” by Giocchino Rossini, “Six Quartets for Horn” by Nicolai
Tcherepnin, Gounod’s “Teddy Bears’ Picnic,” “Memoirs” by Michael Wall,
and “Six Pieces From the Water Music” by Handel.
