Cornerstone Press holds book signing
The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (UWSP) Cornerstone Press
has published the book, “Point: The Beer That Made Me Famous!” by
author James Nolan.
A student-run publishing company, Cornerstone Press operates as part
of an English Department class: Editing and Publishing (English
349). The students in the class elect one another to all the
positions held in a commercial publishing company. They select a
book-length manuscript, edit and design it, and produce 1,000
copies.
A book signing with the author will be held on Thursday, December 11
from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Stevens Point Brewery, 2617 Water Street in
Stevens Point. The book will be available for purchase for $12.95.
“Point: The Beer That Made Me Famous!” is the light hearted tale of
Nolan’s experience on The Late Show with David Letterman. The book
features Nolan’s Stupid Human Trick, which he famously juggles three
cans of Point Special beer while drinking one bottle of Point
Special beer.
The book is available for purchase in Stevens Point at Book Finders,
Book World, the UWSP University Store and the Stevens Point Brewery.
