Computer
Requirements
Because
you are reading this, you probably have or are capable of having the
computer technology needed to enroll in NRES 600.
The
main body of this course is delivered completely on-line so you must be
connected to an Internet service provider. A recent Internet browser
is recommended (Netscape or Internet Explorer 4.0 or newer).
Netscape is available for PCs and Macs and can be downloaded
here. Internet Explorer is also available for PCs and Macs and
can be downloaded
here.
There
will also be instructor to student, student to instructor and student to
student communications. This will occur through E-mail and a
communications software package called Desire-to-Learn (D2L). A UWSP
Email account is available to all registered participants.
