Course Information
NRES 600: Wisconsin Environmental Studies
is a three graduate credit
web-based course offered through the University of
Wisconsin-Stevens Point. The historical, natural, social, and
economic factors that influence the quality of Wisconsin�s environment
will be explored. Major theme
areas include: Conservation History, Ecological Foundations, Biodiversity,
Water, Land, Energy, Air, Environmental Health, and Environmental Quality
and the Future. This course is open to everyone, except: on-campus students by permission of instructor only. Course Mission: To
increase
awareness and develop participant interests and literacy in Wisconsin
environmental content,
issues, and ideas.
