Doebler also serves as Director of the UWSP Summer Music Camp, and is flutist with the Wisconsin Arts Quintet and principal flutist of the Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra. Performing as a recitalist each year at UWSP, Doebler has also presented a flute recital in London, England, and performed with numerous chamber groups and orchestras in New York, New Jersey and Wisconsin. He was a flutist with the United States Military Academy Band at West Point, New York. Doebler is a frequent performer on Wisconsin Public Radio. He was an invited soloist at the 2005 National Flute Association Convention in San Diego, California; he also performed at NFA Conventions in St. Louis, Missouri and Denver, Colorado.
Actively involved with the UWSP International Programs, Doebler has been the faculty leader on three occasions for the “Semester in Britain” program based in London. He has also lead two trips for UWSP music majors to Europe during the summers of 2005 and 2007. Doebler was recently recognized for his 25 years of service as the organist/choir director at the Episcopal Church of the Intercession, Stevens Point, Wisconsin.
