CHIMES Day
UW-Stevens Point Chapter of Music Educators National Conference has revived its annual CHIMES day event. The Chancellor’s Honorary Institute for Music Education Students day (CHIMES) gives an opportunity for high school students to spend a day in the life of a music education major at UWSP. Participants are paired up with UWSP students and are given the opportunity to sit in on instrumental, choral, and jazz classes.
The event will be all day Wednesday, February 27th in the Noel Fine Arts Center.
Each participant will sit in on a theory class, an ensemble rehearsal, and have a tour of campus. All high school students are encouraged to attend.
