Welcome to the String Area at UW-Stevens Point! 

Here is a list of the things we offer string players at UWSP:

At UW-Stevens Point, string students have the opportunity to study with accomplished teachers who have many years of teaching and performing experience. 
We offer a variety of orchestral and chamber music experiences and provide a comprehensive education for both performance and music education majors.
Students also have opportunities to play in master classes for visiting concert artists and string teachers in addition to the many performance experiences available to them both on and off campus.
Students gain practical teaching experience in our innovative "practice partner" program.
