Exploring the Solar System
This exhibit features a highly interactive, commercially produced CD ROM program. Users sit in a darkened booth (wheelchair accessible) and select from four programs: The Solar System, Outer Space, The Sun, and The Moon. The program is visitor friendly, but Museum staff will assist if help is needed. Using a trackball to move the arrow rather than a mouse, visitors with limited hand motion may find the computer easier to operate. The program is rated for kindergarten through grade two. However, we often see adults playing the program for up to twenty minutes.
