5 Annual Hmong Conference

Theme:  Hmong in the Spotlight - HaSEAAC's 15th Annual Conference

Conference times:  9:00 am  - 5:00pm

Lunch (there will be a small lunch fee) Conference is FREE and open to the public

This conference will feature Hmong individuals from the media and performing arts professions.  Guest speakers will include a director, a musician, and a comedian, and more.  There will also be various workshops for guests to learn more about Hmong in entertainment.

This camp offers a program that gives rich and varied art experience to high school students (grades 9-12).  The camp offers five diverse artmaking opportunities: Glass fusing, Aluminum casting, Assemblage, Mixed media, and Flash Animation.  Some DPI Scholarships available.

22-28 TV/Film Production Camp
This is a program for 8-9th grade students to learn about exciting opportunities available in the area of communication.  Students will write, rewrite, film, and edit a real newscast and various vignettes ranging from comedy to tragedy.
