UWSP recognized by U.S. News and World Report
UWSP has again achieved recognition for quality education among public universities in a major national ranking. U.S. News and World Report’s 2006 college rankings named UWSP seventh in Top Public Midwestern Universities–Master’s level.
"It”s a credit to our dedicated students, faculty and staff that UWSP has rated higher this year among the top 10 public universities in the Midwest," said UWSP Chancellor Linda Bunnell. "What makes our campus special is that 95 percent of our undergraduate classes are taught by regular faculty, and that’s the highest percentage in the UW System. We also have one of the highest graduation rates of the UW comprehensive universities."
