UWSP joins national project
UW-Stevens Point has adopted the Voluntary System of Accountability, a national project designed to provide information about the college experience. As one of the first universities to sign on, UWSP joined nearly 250 other colleges and universities in providing consistent and clear information that will help students, parents, and others understand what it means to be a student at UWSP. U.S. News and World Report

UWSP recognized by U.S. News and World Report

UWSP has again achieved recognition for quality education among public universities in a major national ranking. U.S. News and World Report’s 2008 college rankings named UWSP seventh in Top Public Midwestern Universities–Master’s level.

"Faculty and staff who connect students to their future and share a vision of challenging learning and leadership experiences that prepare students for a global society as well as a campus that reflects the long cherished values of the university and is eager to partner with others for a vibrant economy, have earned continued recognition for UWSP through the U.S. News and World Report rankings," said Chancellor Linda Bunnell.
