I am pleased to share a little bit of my past and present with you.  Enjoy reading!!

My husband is John Herder, an actuary for Swiss Reinsurance.  We are proud parents of three lovely daughters.  My oldest daughter, Rachel, lives in Minneapolis, and is starting  her second year of graduate work in Molecular Biology.  My middle daughter, Elizabeth (who helped me with my webpage), is a senior at UWSP majoring in early childhood.  She is the AD at Hyer Hall and swam four years on the UWSP swim team.  Laura, my youngest daughter, is attending  her second year at Rochester Institute of Technology in New York.  We are empty nesters!

I have twenty-two years of teaching experience in Mathematics and Statistics.  I graduated from the University of Colorado in 1975 and received my Masters degree from UWSP in 1980.  I retired from teaching at UWSP in 1997, but the love of students keeps me coming back.

 
My interests include working-out at the YMCA, watching the Packers, and a love for traveling.  I also enjoy time with my family, golfing, and playing bridge.

I'm very active in our community.   I am the Financial Secretary at Redeemer Lutheran Church and a member of the YMCA Board.    Presently I am the Treasurer for the Wisconsin State Board of P.E.O which gives women scholarships all over the world.

I hope to see you in and outside of classes.  Maybe at the YMCA or  to watch my daughter coach at a UWSP swim meet.
