New UWSP
Students (freshman, transfer, or re-entry ) automatically receive a Network Account upon registering
for classes. Your network account allows you access to almost all UWSP
network resources, including:

You can activate and begin using your account the day after you have registered for classes. (You will NOT be able to activate your account prior to registering for classes in person at UWSP) You only need to activate your account ONCE. You will need the following information to activate your account:
When you activate your UWSP account, you will be required to create a password. Your password must meet the following rules: Password Rules:
You are also assigned a unique logon ID. Your logon ID is the first letter of your first name, the first four letters of your last name and the last three numbers of your student ID. (ex. zsmit123). During the activation process you will be required to submit answers to 5 identification questions. The answers you provide are stored by the system and can be used to "help" yourself if there is a problem with your account. In order to "help" yourself you must have access to the Internet and your answers must match what is stored in the system. After successfully completing the activation process you can log on to UWSP computing resources using your logon ID and the password you set for your account. You do not need to be connected to the University network to activate your account. To activate you UWSP account click on Activate My Account below. Questions?
