Wireless Setup for Palm Pre

NOTE: There is limited to no support for these devices.

 

  1. Download the PDA Wireless certificates
  2. Connect your Pre to your computer using the USB cable and select Disc Drive Mode.
  3. Copy the certificates to the downloads folder.
  4. Select Device Info from the Launcher.

  5. Scroll down and click More Info

  6. From the Preferences menu, select Certificate Manager.

  7. Click the New Certificate button in the lower left corner.

  8. Select the first certificate from the list.

  9. Click Trust Certificate.

  10. Repeat steps 4-6 for the other certificate.
  11. Exit Preferences and click in the upper right corner of the screen.

  12. Select Wi-Fi, then Turn on Wi-Fi

  13. Select UWSPWIRELESS from the list.

    14. Select UWSPWIRELESS
  14. Enter your UWSP email address and password.
    Enter your credentials

Your wireless connection should now be active.
