Wireless Setup for PDAs

NOTE: There is limited to no support for these devices.

 

  1. Download and install both certificates to your PDA via activesync. Once you have both certificates on your PDA, browse to them on your PDA and tap each of them. It should ask if you would like to install them. Tap Yes to both of them.

  2. Click the Connectivity icon, and click Settings.

  3. Click the Network Cards icon:

  4. Tap UWSPWIRELESS and set the wireless network to connect to the Internet

  5. For the Network Key settings choose either WPA or WPA2, for the Data Encryption choose TKIP

  6. Under the 802.1x tab choose PEAP for the EAP type.

  7. Tap OK and now tap and hold over UWSPWIRELESS. Connect should appear. Tap Connect Connect to UWSPWIRELESS
  8. You will be asked for your logon name and password. Enter your email address spointer@uwsp.edu and your UWSP password:

You should now be connected.
