Wireless
Networking
The UWSP wireless network is available to all faculty, staff, and students as
well as registered
Community
Visitors. The wireless network is based on IEEE 802.11b/g technology.
Wireless networking is currently available in all campus buildings, as well
as the residence halls computer labs, front desk areas and study lounges.
Wireless networking is also available in the lodges and lounge areas at
Treehaven.
Once you are equipped with a compatible wireless network card, the UWSP
network will be accessible without a wired connection to your portable device.
