Add/View an Additional Account in Outlook 2007, 2010, and OWA

These procedures will only work if you already have permission to access the mailbox you are adding. If you do not have the appropriate permission, contact the Postmaster or the manager of the mailbox.

To access this account through OWA
  1. Log in to OWA as you would for your mailbox.
  2. Click on "your name" in the upper right hand corner, and click Open Other Mailbox
  3. Type in the name of the mailbox you want to open.
  4. Click "Open", and the mailbox will be displayed.
To add an additional mailbox
In Outlook 2007

(Log in as yourself and start Outlook as you normally would.)
  1. From the Tools menu, choose Account Settings...
  2. Select your primary UWSP account and choose the Change... button
  3. Click More Settings...
  4. Click the Advanced tab, then choose Add...
  5. In the Add Mailbox box, type the name of the additional mailbox you have access to. (ex: Smith, Joe or ex: jsmith)
  6. Choose Ok, and then Ok again.
  7. Then choose Next >, and then Finish.
In Outlook 2010
(Log in as yourself and start Outlook as you normally would.)
  1. Choose the File tab. In the Info menu choose the Add Account button just under your name.
  2. In the Add New Account window type the name of the mailbox you want to add, the email address for the mailbox you want to add, and your UWSP password twice. Click Next.
  3. Click Finish after Outlook has configured your mailbox.
