Purchasing Campus Software

Information Technology coordinates the purchasing software for UWSP.

Special pricing for software is available for personal purchases.

Information Technology maintains various licenses for software used throughout the university. We also handle software purchase to comply with state contracts. When considering a software purchase, please be certain the software is not already included in the standard campus load (SCL).

Software not already included in the SCL must be purchased through Information Technology. If you are looking for software not listed below please contact IT Purchasing for contract and special software pricing. Work at Home Software
Departments may also purchase software for their employees' personal computers that will be used for work purposes at home. Contact IT Purchasing for assistance with these purchases.

Microsoft Campus Agreement for Work at Home Rights
University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point is extending to you the right to use the Software for Campus-related purposes at home. You are not licensed to use the Software at home for personal purposes. You do not own the license or the CDs, rather you are authorized to use the Software and associated media pursuant to the terms and conditions of the licenses(s) granted to University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point for the term of UWSP’s Campus Agreement Subscription. You will be required to remove the Software from your home machine immediately upon the earlier of (a) any event which causes you no longer to be a faculty or staff member or employee of the institution for any reason or (b) expiration of the Campus Agreement Subscription term.
