Dietetics Students Gain
Hands on Experience in CPS Café
All graduating seniors in Dietetics who completed internships were successful on the RD exam. RD exam pass rates and internship placements demonstrate the overall quality of our students, faculty and curriculum. Our five-year pass rate is 98%, which is well above the national average of 84%. In addition, the mean score for our students taking the RD exam was 29.71 which is markedly higher than the national mean of 26.88. Graduates from our Dietetics program have consistently posted scores that are higher than the national scores in all categories!
Four Dietetics students received competitive internships. These post-graduation internships serve as qualifying experiences and allow students to sit for the RD exam.
Sarah Gerber, is completing her internship at Metro Health in Cleveland Ohio; Sarah Knuth will intern at Mount Mary, Wisconsin; Kristin McCasky will complete her internship at Viterbo in Wisconsin; and Megan Richardson will be interning at Minneapolis Fairview in Minnesota.
