Admission to the Program

The first step is to apply for graduate study at UWSP by submitting a UWSP Graduate Student Application, application fee, and official transcripts to the Admissions Office. For complete application instructions, please see http://www.uwsp.edu/admissions/, or call the Admissions Office at 715-346-2441.

The second step is to complete the following and send to Lori Macrander, UW-Stevens Point, School of Health Promotion and Human Development, 1904 Fourth St, CPS 216, Stevens Point, WI 54481

  1. A current resume or curriculum vitae detailing your professional post baccalaureate work experience.
  2. A letter of intent detailing your background qualifications, professional development, educational and career goals, and how this program fits into your future professional plans. Please provide specific examples.

3.       An undergraduate grade point average of 2.75 or above (based on a 4.0 scale). We may grant probationary status if you have a GPA below 2.75.

  1. GRE (Graduate Record Exam) http://www.gre.org.

 

International graduate applicants

Deadlines for Application

Applications are accepted at any time and will be reviewed on May 1st and August 1st for fall admission. Candidates will be notified of the results shortly thereafter.
