Chemistry 260 Elementary Biochemistry
Prerequisite = Chem. 220
FN 457 Advanced Nutrition and Human Metabolism
Prerequisite = FN 373; Chem 260; Bio 285
The advanced courses listed above also have prerequisites. Depending on your previous academic preparation, you may need to complete additional coursework. Below is a list of UWSP courses that build towards the advanced level of knowledge needed for success in the courses listed above. Contact Registration and Records if you have questions about whether a course at another university transfers for credit for a UWSP course.
Chemistry 220 Survey of Organic Chemistry
Prerequisite = Chemistry 106 or 116
Chemistry 106 Fundamental Chem or 116 General and Quant Chem
Prerequisite = Chem 105 or 115
Chemistry 105 Fundamental Chem or 115 General and Quant Chem

Prerequisites = FN 106 and 253
FN 253 Introduction to Nutrition and Nutrient Metabolism
Biology 285 Human Physiology
Prerequisite = Bio. 160 or Bio. 101; Chem. 101
Biology 101 General Biology or 160 Introduction to Animal Biology
