Gesell Curriculum

Students standing in a rowThe Gesell curriculum is developed through teacher observations of each individual child. Concepts and skills are introduced through planned activities that focus on particular themes appropriate to each child’s developmental level and reinforce social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth.

Concrete, hands- on learning activities and experiences are planned, which are relevant and of interest to the children and provide meaningful learning. Stories, music, movement activities, art experiences and a variety of exploration centers will be used to help each child feel a sense of accomplishment.

The curriculum goals keep children involved, interested, and learning steadily through discovery and exploration.
