Approximately 70 children, from two years to five years of age, are enrolled in the program. Children are selected from applications submitted by parents or guardians. The program seeks to include children from a variety of ethnic groups, income levels, family sizes and structures, as well as children with a variety of special needs or handicapping conditions.
The Gesell Institute does not discriminate against pupils or their families on the basis of gender, race, national origin, ancestry, creed, pregnancy, marital or parental status, sexual orientation, or physical, mental, emotional, or learning disability or handicap, in its education programs or activities. Program enrollment is available to all children and their families except where there is a reasonable and necessary age requirement as specified under applicable state and federal code.
