Program Description

The academic requirements for the nutrition minor include successful completion of 19 credits. It provides an excellent opportunity for students in other related fields to gain and expand their food and nutrition knowledge. For graduates entering non-health related careers, the nutrition minor may enhance marketability.

Successful completion of the nutrition minor requires at least 4 semesters to complete the required sequence of courses. It is the student's responsibility to plan accordingly. Concurrent enrollment in prerequisite courses is not allowed.​
