Mission Statement
The Wisconsin Institute for Peace and Conflict Studies is an organization of universities, colleges, and individuals dedicated to promoting an informed understanding of peace, justice, and conflict and to encouraging students, teachers, academics, and the public to become engaged global citizens working toward a just peace.
Membership Information
An Individual Membership is available for a contribution of $35 for the year. Benefits include a subscription to the Bulletin, a copy of the Journal for the Study of Peace and Conflict, full or partial waiver of the registration fees for the two annual conferences, and borrowing privileges from the media library.
Become a Supporting Member with a contribution of $100 or more.
A Student Affiliate Membership, available for $15, offers a free registration to the next student conference and a subscription to the Bulletin.
Your membership contribution helps support the Institute’s programs and outreach, which include:
- a speakers program;
- conferences for students, academics, and the general public;
- an annual refereed journal;
- an organizational newsletter;
- annual awards for faculty and students; and
- opportunities for sharing curricula and teaching methods.
All contributions are tax deductible as allowable by law.
