Graduate Program

The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point offers three graduate degree programs in History: a Master of Science in Teaching (MST) in History, an MST in History with a concentration in the Social Sciences, and a Master of Science in Education (General) with a History concentration.  The History Department administers the first two programs; the School of Education administers the third in consultation with History.  The primary purpose of these programs is to meet the educational needs of teachers in central Wisconsin who have already completed the certification process required by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.
