Originally from Fall River, Wisconsin.  Graduated from UWSP in 2002 with a bachelor of science in Athletic Training.  Worked one year at UW-Madison before going to graduate school at Oregon State University.  Worked as a graduate assistant at Oregon State with cross country and track while obtaining a Master's degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology.  Worked for the last three years at Nazareth College in Rochester NY as an assistant athletic trainer
