Artist's Narrative
This piece is a study of "hot and cool" colors and their percentages on the figure. It was an assignment for a core drawing class and was drawn based on a live female model. This study is indeed just that, a practice in color usage and learning to draw the human figure. Though an assignment, I feel it turned out well as an asthetically interesting piece. The medium used is compressed chalk pastel on arches drawing paper.
