Megan Coutts
hails from Beloit, WI. Her major is Graphic Design, and she is working on
a minor in Business Administration. She participates in SAL, AIGA, and
Women�s Lacrosse here on campus. She hopes to one day work for a major
advertising corporation. Her faculty mentor for this project was Susan
Morrison.
Thomas Krahn
is from Brillion, WI. He is majoring in Athletic Training and minoring in
Safety and Health Protection. Specifically, he is interested in sports
medicine and physical therapy. He is a member of the UWSP Sports Medicine
Club and participates in intramural sports in his spare time. He is
currently working as a Certified Athletic Trainer for the 2006-2007 Green
Bay Packers. He hopes to attend graduate school to earn his doctorate in
physical therapy and later work as a physical therapist/athletic trainer
in a clinical setting. His faculty mentor for this project was Stan
Brubaker.
Kate Hankins
is originally from Clintonville, WI. She is
working on a major in Art with a Graphic Design Emphasis and a minor in
Spanish. She is particularly interested in motion graphics. She is a
member of AIGA, the Student Art League, and the Environmental Council here
on campus. She would eventually like to work in the movie business. Her
faculty mentor for this project was Susan Morrison.
Jennifer Harter
is from Kewaskum, WI. Her major is Art, with an
emphasis in Graphic Design. She has a special interest in working on page
layouts. She is a member of AIGA and is a Noel Compass Scholar. She
hopes to one day work for a major magazine. Her faculty mentor for this
project was Susan Morrison.
Catherine
Hassemer is from
Middleton, WI.
She will be earning her BFA in Fine Arts this May. She is interested
in many art media, but she especially emphasizes photography. She
also has a particular interest in community and youth art. She has
served as the Curator of the Carlsten Gallery Student Advisory Committee,
Community Liaison of CounterPoint, and Event Planner for a Guerrilla Girls
show at UWSP in April 2006.

Leah Kwarciany
grew up in
Pewaukee, WI. Her
major is 2D art, and she is
interested in painting, multi-media art, and ceramics. Her goal is
to become a professional painter. Her faculty mentor for this
project was Susan Morrison.
Nicholas David Legler
comes Seymour, WI. His majors are Fisheries/Limnology and Biology. He
has a special interest in Great Lakes Fisheries. He is a member of the
UWSP Fisheries Society, the UWSP Wildlife Society, and the UWSP Fire
Crew. Next semester he will be attending graduate school at the
University of Windsor in Ontario Canada. He will be working on a project
involving river discharge as a predictor of Lake Erie yellow perch
recruitment. His faculty mentor for this project was Stanley Szczytko.
Anthony Locasio
is from
Stevens Point, WI. His major is Art
with a 3D emphasis and his minor is Business and Administration. He has a
special interest in welding and fabrication. In his spare time he enjoys
disc golf, hunting, fishing, and playing guitar. He would like to
eventually become a financial advisor. His faculty mentor for this
project was Susan Morrison.
Alexander W. Richter
is from Hopkins, MN. He is
working on a triple major in Math, Economics, and Political Science.
He is particularly interested in operations research and microeconomics.
He is currently a research assistant for the Central Wisconsin Economic
Research Bureau, a tutor at the UWSP Math Room, and a Lecturer at the UWSP
Planetarium and Observatory. He is also president of the Math Club and
co-founder and president of Pi Mu Epsilon, the Math Honors Society. He
serves as a consultant to Wausau Insurance and the Stevens Point Area
School District. He plans to attend graduate school to earn his Ph.D. in
Economics. His faculty advisor for this project was Andrew Felt.
Michael Thornton
hails from Appleton, WI. His major is
Graphic Design. He is particularly interested in picture editing with
Photoshop. He is currently a work study student in the Art Wood Shop. He
would like to design logos as part of his career. His faculty mentor for
this project was Susan Morrison.
Nathaniel Throckmorton
is from Stevens Point, WI. He is double majoring in Economics and
Mathematics. He is specifically interested in operations research and
statistics. He was formerly a member of the Math Honor Society, SGA
Finance Committee, the Math Club, and the Phi Kappa Phi Executive
Committee. He spent the 2005-6 academic year abroad, first in London and
then in Hungary and enjoyed adapting to new cultures. He would eventually
like to get into the insurance/banking field. His faculty mentors for
this project were Nathan Wetzel and Randy Cray.
Kristy Volkman
comes from Black Creek, WI. She is working
on two majors, one in history and the other in Broadfield Social
Sciences. She is particularly interested in American studies and
gender issues. She is a member of the History Club, Phi Alpha Theta, and
the Women�s Lacrosse Team. She hopes to eventually attend graduate school
to become a professor. Her faculty mentor for this project was Theresa
Kaminski.
