Artist's Narrative
When beginning my drawing, I focused on creating a visually effective composition. The Fine Arts Center served as the subject for my piece. Since the building is beautiful and interesting architecturally, it allowed me to introduce many technical and expressive aspects to my work. The drawing contains studies of shapes, placement, and perspective that are naturally presented by the building itself. The colors deviate from this visual reality. I worked with variations of hot and cold colors to create an appealing, bright, and playful composition.
