Each year we publish selected work from the previous academic year.   The selection process is rigorous and is conducted by an editorial board comprised of faculty representing each college.  The work selected is submitted to a faculty referee who is a specialist in the particular field.

The UWSP Journal is designed to encourage our students to work toward publication and presentation of their work.  While the Journal is a stand-alone publication, it is the hope of the editorial board that the student authors and artists whose work is contained herein will consider this publication as a beginning, rather than an end-point, for presenting their work.  We hope that the authors will consider revising and refining their work for presentation in other, scholarly, venues. 

We trust that you will benefit from this publication.  Please note that the student authors and artists retain the copyright to their work.  Fair use of this scholarship should be accompanied by appropriate attribution according to discipline standards.
