The UWSP Academic Staff Excellence Award recognizes an academic staff member (Category A or C) for their contributions made in their unit, department, and/or university. Any or all of the following should be considered when making the nomination: excellence in performance, personal interaction, initiative and creativity, and outstanding achievement.
The 2009 recipient of the Excellence Award is Steve Menzel. Steve has served the University for the past 10 years as the Development & Public Relations Coordinator for the College of Natural Resources. His commitment to excellence is described by his nominators:
